Poundland Beauty: Creightons Squeeky Clean Pore Wow Wow Face Mask - Review

Hello everyone! After a week of book related posts we are back to the beauty items! Not just any though... we're back to the Poundland beauty series! For those of you that occasionally take a look through Poundland you may have noticed that they are promoting a new range of beauty items which are all under the brand Squeeky Clean. So of course I was intrigued to explore this new affordable brand!

Squeeky Clean Pore Wow Wow Face Mask

The brand seems to have mostly skincare and bath products currently. They all also smell like a mix of strawberry and raspberry... at least they do to me! The scent is definitely noticeable as my other half has often commented that I smell sweet after using this brand!

I have picked up a few products from the range however today we will be talking about their Pore Wow Wow face mask. I love the packaging. It is very fun and vibrant. The colour scheme is also constant through the brand. The packaging is sturdy plastic and the lid re-applies tightly which keeps the face mask nice and fresh. The mask itself claims to be 'pore refining'.

The tub itself gives a generous amount of the face mask, 100ml to be exact. The face mask also has a really thick consistency. I have been trying this out for a few weeks now and I love this mask! I'm the type of person that likes to chuck on a face mask all the time... probably more than I should! Since this face mask isn't too strong I can use it a lot in the week without messing up my skin! For those of you that love to over indulge with a cheeky face mask or two during the week this is perfect. But does it do anything for your pores? The short answer is yes but not in the long term. I tend to notice that the day after using this mask the small areas where I do suffer from enlarged pores are not an issue. They are significantly reduced however this only lasts for around one to two days!

So overall I love this mask, especially for pamper evenings. It doesn't break the bank and its great for popping on before a night out just to give your skin that bit of a boost. It also leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft. Yes the results aren't long term but for a pound you can't really argue!

Have you checked out the Squeeky Clean range yet? What are your favourite face masks? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Wow I think I'm going to have to pick this up, I like to do face masks twice a week so I don't mind if they're not ridiculously strong - nice post :)

    1. My skin is particularly sensitive at the minute so I am actually glad it isn't too strong but effective enough to make a difference! Thank you so much!
