Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Foundation - Review

Hello everyone! Today I am reviewing a foundation that I have wanted to try for the longest time. I have heard so many good things about the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. This foundation well and truly lives up to the hype that it has created! In fact I am so in love with this foundation that I want to try the serum formula as well! Can you tell my foundation obsession is getting a little bit out of hand? Anyway on to the review!

I have been trying out this foundation for a few weeks now. The packaging is beautiful. Small, simple and sleek. For £10.99, which you can check out on the Boots website here,  you get 30ml or 1fl.oz of product. The foundation bottle comes with a handy little pump which makes it tones easier to apply the product. I team this with my real techniques expert face brush to get a flawless finish.

I love the shade range available for this foundation. I rarely find foundations that perfectly match my skin tone since I am so pale! NC15 is the only foundation that is absolutely perfect for my skin tone however I have to admit that Bourjois is pretty much spot on for me too! I'm in shade 51 Light Vanilla.

One thing I rarely ever comment on with foundations is the smell... however I am going to today! This foundation smells absolutely divine! It smells so fruity and fresh! Yes I smell my make-up brush occasionally when I do my make-up with this foundation... don't judge me! For those of you that are sensitive to smells don't worry, the smell doesn't linger and it doesn't seem to aggravate my currently extremely sensitive skin.

Here is a photo of me wearing the foundation. As you can see it gives a really fresh and refreshing finish to the skin. My skin always looks more awake and fresh after using this foundation. The lasting power is also fantastic. On me this foundation can definitely hit the 12-16 hour mark on those longer days. The foundation has medium coverage which is definitely buildable and leaves a dewy and healthy look to the skin. However if you prefer a matte finish you can quickly apply some powder and you're good to go! The foundation claims to leave a 'healthy glow & flawless complexion' with 'up to 16 hours' wear. I have to agree with both of these claims! Well done Bourjois!

Have you tried this foundation or any others from Bourjois? What is your current favourite foundation? Let me know in the comments!
