*MooGoo - Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Cream and Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser - Review*

Back in December last year I reviewed a few MooGoo Skincare* products that were sent to me. MooGoo contacted me once again asking if I'd like to try a couple more products from their range; their Cleansing Moisturiser and their Natural Tinted Cream. Of course I said yes as I love the MooGoo range!

MooGoo - Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Cream and Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser

MooGoo have the cutest packaging. They sent these products once again in the cutest delivery box, check out my last review to see how adorable the delivery packaging is! The Cleansing Moisturiser box is actually in the shape of a little milk carton! How adorable! If you're interested in reading a little about MooGoo and the products they have to offer check out their website here.

Dusty Girls - Natural Tinted Cream

MooGoo - Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Cream

I received the Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Cream in the shade light. This tinted cream is designed to help with acne prone skin. It is no clogging and has an SPF of 5. You get 50ml of product in this sturdy plastic tube with a pump to help with application. This product is also not tested on animals.

MooGoo - Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Cream

Let me start by stating that I love this tinted cream and I have in fact replaced my usual foundation with this tinted cream. I feel as though it is letting my skin breathe a lot better whilst allowing for coverage which is very build able. This is the most high coverage and build-able tinted cream I have every tried yet you can't feel it on your skin at all! I also feel very happy that I have a slight bit of SPF in the product protecting my sensitive skin.

MooGoo Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser

MooGoo - Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser

Next we have the Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser. This moisturiser contains no benzoyl peroxide and helps blemish prone skin alongside helping to moisturise. Once again this product is not tested on animals. Once you open up the milk carton shaped packaging you reveal the plastic tube containing 75g worth of product.

MooGoo - Blemish Cleansing Moisturiser

I've been swapping this moisturiser in to my skincare routine when I have ben getting the odd occasional spot. It helps clear them up straight away! It is a lot lighter than my usual day moisturisers so I can see this being my day to day moisturiser for over summer! It is also very cooling on the skin and leaves my skin feeling very refreshed!

Overall I have found two new products from the MooGoo range that I have fallen in love with and will be repurchasing once these run out! An 11/10 from me for both these products!

*Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - Paris and West End Girls - Eyeshadow Palettes - Review*

Recently I have been delving in to the world of eyeshadows. I have been given confidence out of no where to begin playing with new colours I wouldn't usually wear.  Okay sometimes I fall back in to old, smoky eyed habits but I am definitely becoming more confident! Makeup Revolution sent me two of their gorgeous palettes from their I  Makeup: I   Obsession line. The two palettes they sent were Paris and West End Girls.

Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - Paris and West End Girls - Eyeshadow Palettes

Makeup Revolution do a fantastic job at producing durable and professional looking palettes at such an affordable price. I have tried a few of their palettes and I love them. These two palettes have a fantastic blend of neutrals and stand out colours. You can find Paris here and West End Girls here both for the amazing price of £3.99.

Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - Paris - Eyeshadow Palette

Paris is a perfect blend of golden neutrals, browns with a hint of colour. The bottom row of both Paris and West End Girls have a row of highlight colours which, to be honest, are very hard to swatch on my awfully pale skin. However I can confirm they are stunning. There is a mix of mattes and shimmers which gives great variety for those that like different finishes to their highlighters.

Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - Paris - Eyeshadow Palette - Swatches

Above is Paris swatched. If you follow me on my Instagram you will have already gotten a sneak peak at these swatches. They are absolutely stunning. The finish on them is flawless and the ability to both blend and intensify these colours is absolutely stunning.

Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - West End Girls - Eyeshadow Palette

Next we have West End Girls which is by far the deeper toned palette. I have to admit I have been drawn more to this palette as I am a fan of deeper shades of eyeshadows. I won't sing the praises of the highlighter shades again... I'll just say once again they're stunning.

Makeup Revolution: I ♡ Makeup - West End Girls - Swatches

I am in love with the golden shade in this palette. Swatches and pictures don't do this shade justice for how gorgeous it looks on the eye. It is stunning and I have created so many looks with that shade. It will hit pan first I am sure!

I hope you enjoyed reading a few of my thoughts on these two stunning palettes. Have you tried these palettes or anything from the  I  Makeup: I   Obsession line? What is your favourite product from Makeup Revolution? Let me know in the comments!

*Simple Kind To Skin Illuminating Radiance Cream - Review*

A while back when I was offered the chance to run the Kind To City Skin giveaway by Simple I was also sent a bag of goodies myself to try and test out! Fast forward after packing away, moving out and unpacking I have finally gotten round to reviewing and trying out some of the Simple products I was sent! Today I am focusing on the Illuminating Radiance Cream.

Simple Kind To Skin Illuminating Radiance Cream

Firstly, when I was running the giveaway, this is one of the products that jumped out at me as I really don't have anything like it in my skincare or in my collection. The Simple Kind To Skin Illuminating Radiance Cream is available for £7.99 at Boots here. The product itself has an SPF of 15 which I love. I love having a bit of sun protection all year round in my skincare and make-up.

So what makes this product illuminate the skin? Well the product claims to be 'infused with multi-vitamins, skin-loving ingredients and light reflecting minerals: it captures the light for immediate natural radiant looking skin'. On top of this the cream itself also has little glitter particles. Now... when I say that please don't think I mean your face will look like a glitter ball. There is only the occasional piece of glitter and underneath make-up it blends away beautifully and makes your skin look awake and fresh, No glitter ball face here!

I use this cream just after my serum and before my primer. It slides beautifully in to my skincare and make-up routine in the morning and in all honesty I will be reinvesting in this cream for a long time. I absolutely love it! Hats off once again to Simple for a... well simple but amazing product! The cream itself is also a fantastic little moisturiser. It is lightweight and quickly absorbs in to the skin however it also feels very moisturising.

Have you tried the Simple Kind To Skin Illuminating Radiance Cream? What are your thoughts? Do you have a favourite Simple product? Let me know in the comments below!

*A chat with the author - DelSheree Gladden*

Hello everyone. A slightly different blog post for you all today. If you check out my previous blog post here you will be able to read my thoughts on the book Date Shark by DelSheree Gladden. Today I will be sharing a few Q&A responses with the author herself! I hope you enjoy!

1. Hi DelSheree. Firstly thank you for the wonderful opportunity to read Date Shark. Could you please give my readers a brief summary of who you are and why you became a writer?

Thank you for reading and for having me on you blog! I am married and mom of two adventurous kids. Family, sports, church, and exploring the nearby mountains keeps us pretty busy most days. I also work as a dental hygienist. I started writing when I was a teen as a way to express myself. I was pretty quiet, and writing allowed me to share what I was thinking about, even if nobody ever read it.

2. Could you give a brief summary about the novel Date Shark?

Date Shark focuses around Eli, a man tormented by his past, and Leila, a woman who feels like she is in over her head in pretty much every area of her life. It's her dismal dating experiences that bring Leila to Eli. She hopes his coaching will help her ditch her label as the "go to girl" when a guy needs a last minute date, but she doesn't know what to do when she starts falling for him. Eli, on the other hand, has everything planned out. He's convinced sticking to his plan is the only way to make sure he ends up with Leila, but the possibility of it backfiring is all too likely.

3. What was your inspiration behind the novel Date Shark?

I was actually looking for help on a query letter for a completely different book quite a few years ago and ended up submitting it to The Query Shark. She helped me whip the query into shape, and that book was eventually published, but the experienced gave me an idea. What if there was a shark out their for woman who needed a dating overhaul?

4. I noticed throughout the novel, but in particular at the beginning, you were very good at pointing out common flaws we all have whilst dating. Was this from experience or did you gather ideas from other people?

I've always been a people watcher. Product of being so shy, I suppose. I always listened when one my friends needed to cry or rant over a guy. Everyone, me included, have blind spots about themselves, and sometimes they can really impact a relationship. There were bits a pieces accumulated over the years that helped build this story, but in book two I actually asked for bad date stories from friends and got some great ones to base new Date Shark experiences off of!

5. I loved the use of changing POV throughout the novel. Why did you decide to implement this in the novel?

When I finished the first chapter with Leila, all I could picture next was Eli walking away shaking his head at himself. There was too much going on in both of their heads to tell it from only one point of view.

6. Leila is involved in the fashion industry. Is fashion something that interests you?

I love fashion! I was actually accepted into the fashion design program at CSU, but I couldn't work the classes into my schedule and ended up switching my major at the last minute. I love to sew, though, and designing clothes has been a hobby of mine since my days of cutting up scraps to make Barbie clothes.

7. There are reference to a lot of films in Date Shark: Elf, Psycho, Ratatouille, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Holiday Inn to name but a few. What is your favourite film?

It's so hard to choose. I really love quirky indie films like "Safety Not Guaranteed," but I adore classics like "Charade," too. If I have to pick a favorite, I'd have to go with "Another Earth." It's one that really stuck with me for a while.

8. Luke or Eli - who would you choose?

Another tough choice! I love to try new things, which is why I have a bazillion hobbies I don't have time for, but I love a romantic, too. I think I'd have to go with Eli, because I think you can really see how much he adores Leila, and every girl wants to feel like they are the center of their guy's thoughts.

I would personally like to thank DelSheree for the wonderful opportunity to both read her book and interview her! You can find Delsheree here on twitter! You can also check out her website here.
