Soap & Glory - Make Yourself Youthful Super Serum - Review

Back in December when I got the Yule Monty set from Soap & Glory they were very generous to offer free sample sachets of their Make Yourself Youthful Super Serum. I had every plan to review just the sample set that they provided but as you can see I ended up buying the full sized product! Can you guess what my opinion was of the samples?!

Soap & Glory - Make Yourself Youthful Super Serum

Lets take a look at the container first. The product is not in a squeeze container which I expected - it is actually in a solid metal look-finish container with a pump which I love as one full pump is enough for the whole of my face which makes application easier. The pump also has a plastic cap so you can stand this beautiful container up on your dressing table as well as keep the pump clean and protected. It really does look like a high end product in comparison to other serums out there.

The actual serum is amazing. I must admit I have not been the biggest serum user in my lifetime so I don't have the biggest frame of reference but this one I absolutely adore. I apply this every morning before I put on my make-up and it not only glides on and makes my skin feel super soft it also acts as a great base for my make-up. The serum itself is white and the scent is lovely and sweet with a fruity twist. If you aren't a fan of scented face products don't worry - the smell doesn't linger for too long! Now how about those claims it makes you look younger? Another anti ageing claim? Well I can honestly say that even though I am only 21 the lines I seem to have collected around my eyes over the years do look a lot better! They look less deep and my face overall looks a lot fuller with a better complexion. I have been using this for around 2/3 months and the results so far look positive. I think if anything this is great for younger people who do want a product that has some small part in helping their premature fight against ageing!

The price is a bit steep at £20 at boots which you can take a look at here and to be honest I bagged this for £12 just after Christmas with a discount code as well as the sales offer! So if it is a tad too steep for you I suggest waiting for any Boots sales when it can go to £16 sometimes!

Have you tried the Soap & Glory Make Yourself Super Serum? What is your favourite serum? Let me know in the comments!
