Batiste Dry Conditioner - Review

Hello everyone. Today I am going to review a product I bought on a wim just to try out - the Batiste Dry Conditioner!

Batiste Dry Conditioner

When I first saw this in Boots I was intrigued. I had read a few mixed reviews on this and I wanted to try it for myself. The concept of dry conditioner seems alien to me. The whole idea of dry conditioner however is very simple - to make the hair softer and shinier looking as though it has just been conditioned. So does it do this? Yes it does! It gives the hair a lovely shine and makes the hair feel so soft. To be honest I use this on days I have washed and conditioned my hair where I just want a little bit of a glossy look on my hair. This is perfect for when you want your hair looking healthy and glowing.

Personally though I hold off on using this when my hair is in-between washes. This is mainly because my hair needs no help with looking shiny in when it needs a wash! I also don't like to weigh down my hair too much with product when I am giving it a day off. The softness and shine the product delivers also aren't long lasting. Batiste dry conditioner is healthy hair in a can if you will... it has a temporary effect until you next wash your hair. This disappointed me a little, with the bottle boasting the presence of argan oil I was hoping this product might help my hair over a long period of time - so far not much look!

Overall if you are looking for a product to give you that healthy hair glow then this is perfect especially for £3.99 in boots.

Have you tried Batiste Dry Conditioner or any other dry conditioner? What were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!

  2. An interesting review, I don't think I'd ever need to use a dry conditioner because my hair is so thin it goes from shiny to greasy looking in about 5 seconds!

  3. I used a dry conditioner accidentally instead of a dry shampoo and I actually really liked it. Plus go can never go wrong with Batiste!
