8 Months Pregnant - Update!

Hello everyone! Yesterday we went for our final scan so I thought I would put up a picture of our scans throughout my pregnancy! Top left: 13 weeks, top right: 22 weeks, bottom left: 28 weeks and bottom right 32 weeks.

As far as we know our little baby girl is due on the 30th of April and has been predicted to be 8lbs if I go to 40 weeks!

As far as myself, I am doing well. I can safely say I'm nesting and have anti bacterial wiped and bleached the majority of my house! We pretty much have everything set up and ready for baby and my hospital bag is packed! Now all that is left is to start my maternity leave in 4 weeks time and make final preparations for baby!

7 months pregnant - Update!

7 months pregnant - Update!

Hello everyone! Recently, on Saturday I should say, I hit the seven month mark in my pregnancy and thought I would give you all an update!

I haven't got very long as all left. We have pretty much gotten everything we need bar a few things. Baby is well and truly kicking now and has been doing for about a month now. However movements have become a lot more obvious now - to the point were you can see her dancing around from outside! I've got to say I'm loving feeling her move and can kill time easily just laying on the couch feeling her move about in there.

She tends to be most active in the morning and when I get in from work but she is still a little wriggler during the day. I think she tends to lay back and relax like I do when I get in from work - meaning she is stretching out and trying to take up as much room as possible! We've had growth scans and baby is well on track for where she should be at this point in my pregnancy which is fantastic news.

I haven't had any weird cravings since my last update though I have been wanting sweeter foods and treats lately. Most recently it has been mint choc chip ice cream with chocolate sauce! I've also been enjoying strawberries and fruit juices. In my first two trimesters all I wanted was savoury meals and no snacks really- that seems to have changed dramatically and now I can't stop eating!

I plan on doing a little post on what we have so far for baby so stay tuned for that!

Are there any mums/mums to be that follow me? Let me know in the comments below!

Maternity Fashion - New Look

Hello everyone! As promised last week I am bring a pregnancy post this week! One I have been wanting to do recently for a variety of reasons. If you've ever had a little bump that you have had to accommodate your wardrobe to you will know that not very many places actually have a maternity section in store... which SUCKS! It's hard enough to learn how to dress your new figure without the guess work of online shopping. Fortunately the few pieces I've picked up which are maternity so far have worked out fantastically and have been from the affordable New Look!

The first dress is this khaki zip front dress. It is very accommodating for my growing bump and is really great for work and at home. I can layer it to make it that little bit warmer during these colder months and, to be honest, I can see myself using this after the baby has arrived as it should lay very nicely!

This second dress is in the same style of the first but striped. Again I love this as it is so comfy and lays beautifully over the bump. A winning cut for a dress for me.

This last dress is a 2 in 1 dress and is so comfortable. Great for work as it is smart but effortless! It doesn't hug the bump at all and allows for a lot of growing room. Again this is a dress I could see myself reaching for after I've had the baby.

So there you have it! I hope this post has been somewhat helpful to you mums to be out there! Now with only a few months to go I feel like my bump is finally taking shape and I can begin to dress it well!

Sensational - Midnight Rendezvous

Sensational - Midnight Rendezvous

Hello all! I'm back today with another simple NOTD look! This time I return to an old favourite. Midnight Rednevous which I've spoken about before on the blog. I've added a bit more sparkle to my nails and topped it off with a glitter top coat on the accent nail. I often find at this time of year it is hard to find a colour to paint on your nails mid season - but you can't go wrong with classic black! What are you wearing on your nails currently?

Make sure to check back next week for a maternity blog post, for all you mums to be!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

Finally I have gotten round to posting this! Amidst getting further along in my pregnancy and starting the new term in work time just got away from me! Anyway I digress, let's get on with the post!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25
Behind door number twenty two was an eyeshadow brush. I'm always great full of eyeshadow brushes in sets. They're not something I tend to rush out and buy! I have had a chance to use this briefly and I liked it!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

Underneath number twenty three was this eye make-up remover. I have received this before in the previous calender and I really enjoyed it. I have put this near my bed for those lazy days of taking make-up off!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

Behind number twenty four was the protect and perfect intense night cream. As I have said in previous posts I love the Protect and Perfect range so I was happy to receive a top up of one of my favourite night creams!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 22-25

Last, but by no means least, is the No7 Lovly lashes mascara. I have yet to come across a No7 mascara I don't like and this has been no exception. Definitely a go to mascara for work/weekdays!

So there you have it! The No7 2015 advent calender! I can hostly say that if No7 offer another advent calender next year I'll be picking one up. Two years on the run they have impressed me! Here is hoping for a third!

Lifestyle - We're having a girl - Baby Isabella!

Lifestyle - We're having a girl - Baby Isabella!

Hello everyone! Well, I haven't really posted much about my pregnancy on this blog. Mostly because I have been so busy lately but also because I've been too busy actually enjoying being pregnant! Recently we had our second scan. We found that our little baby was still a little wriggler. In both the scans we have had our little baby has always been a mover!

During the scan we found that baby was developing as baby should and that... she was a girl! We were happy with either gender but it was lovely to finally give our little bump a name, Isabella. Isabella has various personal reasons behind her name which is why we had it chosen well before I fell pregnant for if we ever had a girl! We also have a name for a little boy, however that name reveal will have to wait!

In the above scan photo you can see her sucking her thumb. One of the many poses she pulled for us that day!

I hope you've all enjoyed this little update. I definitely want to do another post in the new year about my pregnancy and how well it is going. For now if you have any pregnancy posts you'd like to read do let me know in the comments.

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

I can't believe we are so close to Christmas day! This month, as well as this year, has absolutely flown by. My next post will be days 22-25. As you can expect I won't be posting that on Christmas day as I will be busy spending time with family - so expect that one a few days after Christmas! Anyway lets take a look at days 15-21!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

Behind number fifteen was one of the No7 High Shine lip pencils. A couple of these were in last years calender and I absolutely love them. They're the perfect thing for people like me that love a bit of lip colour but are too lazy for the upkeep of lipstick!

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

Number sixteen held one of the No7 nail effect glitter polishes. This year the calender offered a gold variation. Last years was a silver glitter polish and I absolutely loved it. I ended up wearing this polish for Christmas Jumper Day in work and got a lot of compliments from it!

Day number seventeen contained the No7 Youthful Eye Serum. This is, once again, something that came in last years box. I used up the sample just recently from last years box and will swiftly be moving on to this eye cream! It is definitely one I would pick up myself as it is really soothing to the eyes.

Behind door number eighteen was the Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil. A great standard black eyeliner.

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

Number nineteen held one of the No7 single eyeshadows. I love all the single eyeshadows that they have offered the past two years. These eyeshadows give me a little inspiration to pull out eyeshadow over the festive period and go for some neutral eye looks.

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

Behind door number twenty was something I had heard was in the calender and was exited to receive - a new, shiny gold, eyelash curler! Okay so I already have an eyelash curler but look, its so shiny, gold and pretty! Can you tell I am easily pleased?

No7 Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

Finally behind door number twenty one was the extravagant volume waterproof mascara. I love the No7 mascaras - I've yet to try one I don't absolutely love. So I am really exited to try this one!
